Unit 3:Personality and Job Satisfaction
Concept of personality; Determinants of personality; Big Five Personality Traits; linkingan individual's personality and values to the workplace; Major personality attributesinfluencing organizational behavior; Concept and role of job satisfaction; Measuring jobsatisfaction; Effects of job satisfaction on employees’ performance.
Unit 4: Organizational Conflict and Stress
Concept of organizational conflict; Functional and dysfunctional conflict; Approaches toconflict management; Resolving conflict through negotiation; Dynamics of intergroupconflict; Concept of organizational stress; Organizational causes of stress; approaches formanaging stress; Stress and innovative work behavior of employees.

Unit 6:Theories of Effective leadership & Contemporary Leadership Styles
Contingencies Theories: Fiedler’s contingency theory, Cognitive resource theory, Path goal theory, Situational leadership theory and Multiple linkage model; Contemporary leadership styles: Transactional leadership, Transformational leadership, Charismaticleadership, Value-based leadership, Spiritual and servant leadership, Boundary spanning& team leadership.

Concept of leader behaviors: supportive, directive, participative; Professionaldevelopment to leaders: coaching, mentoring, counselling; Leadership development
