Introduction to F& B department

Food and beverage service is one of the major divisional operations in hotel industry, which delivers prepared food and drinks to the customer through its different service outlets in the appropriate hospitality manner. The main responsibilities of this department are Mise-En-scene, mise-en-place, order taking, welcoming the guest, serve meals and drinks, and so on.  F& B operation comprises of different outlets, such as coffee shop, specialty restaurant, bar, pantry, room service, banquet, still room.

This is the department, which is responsible for the systematic service of food and beverage in any outlet. The role of this department is to give the accurate service of food & beverage by placing the food @ beverage from the hot plate of kitchen till the customer table in the proper hospitality manner.
