Rukum, Oct. 5 (RSS): Three community schools of Aathbiskot Municipality in Rukum district have started teaching the students through the use of digital boards. Himalaya Secondary School of Syalakhadi, Sarswati Secondary School of Gotamkot and Martyrs Memorial Namuna Secondary School of Radibazaar have commenced teaching-learning activities by using digital boards with support from the municipality.
Coordinator of education unit of the municipality, Thalbir Oli, said that modern technology was used in learning activities aiming to enhance quality of education and it was started in three schools as a test for now. According to Oli, internet connectivity is ensured in the schools and the materials are surfed in the internet and are informed the students through the digital boards.
The municipality shared that currently each class is taught on turn by turn basis adding that they system would be expanded in all class and other schools too after its effective operations. The municipality procured each digital board for Rs 360,000.
